I've started a second study for environmental drawings, and I chose a pretty easy one this time, since for this one I wanted to mainly focus on the rendering and measurements, I chose a picture with little depth.
So with this piece I did the same steps with my previous study. I made sure to familiarise myself with the scale of the different props by viewing it from a different angle with a fast sketch and then I started with the lineart.

Hi there, Fariz here again, now with the colored drafts for the Environments of Tie-Rex. I discussed with the other group members, and we unanimously decided that we needed to populate the place even more.
I had a very warm setting in mind while coloring the set, thats the reason why the environment has a tinge of red in every room. Hi there! Fariz here, back again with some environmental art. This time, some pre-production for my Final Year Project. I was in charge of designing the environment for our short film, Tie-Rex, Its mainly about a dinosaur trying to get his pair of spectacles on. Seeing how as the characters are dinosaurs I decided to make the house more accustomed to them, mainly making the place look more prehistoric; stones everywhere. The props in the set are also made of very primitive materials such as rocks or wood.
I aim to finish the color scheme of the entire set by the next post. Thank you very much for reading my posts. |
